Alex from DND garage doors was really exceptional. He was responsive to my inquiries and guided me through ordering a new door.

His price was very competitive. I got all new hardware (door, tracks, bearings, and opener) and everything works great. The new door operates very smoothly and is tremendously more quiet than our old door and opener. I highly recommend the Liftmaster jack shaft opener if your setup allows. (You will need an electrical outlet close to the left or right side of the jack shaft, but if you're not handy an electrician can help you with this). It's more compact and out of the way than traditional overhead units.

As someone who is fairly handy and likes things "done right", it's always nice to see professionals like Alex and his associate Barry work together to ensure everything is the way it should be. Double kudos for coming out to install the door when it was 15 degrees F outside! I would have understood if they wanted to postpone, but I'm glad they were able to work through the cold.

I called DND to replace the springs on my garage door at my old townhouse several years ago and just had to do the same again for my current house. The service I received from Alex was just as excellent as the first time. He was able to schedule me in first thing in the morning the very next day after I called. Alex arrived on time with a courtesy call 15 mins. away and was very thorough in not only replacing the springs, but also addressing a couple other problems he found with my doors. He made sure everything was in perfect working order before he left and explained in detail the work that was done. Call DND for all your garage door needs!

AWESOME service! Alex came out (Accokeek, MD) to give a quote the same day we called and set up an installation time/date for the same week. The online estimate was emailed the day of the in-person . The estimate and was precisely detailed and easy to understand. The installers (Barry and Tim) arrived right on time (actually they were on-site 10 minutes early and called to let us know and get approval to come sooner) and were very pleasant and professional. The price was very reasonable and Alex covered multiple scenarios for various options such as: windows or no windows, insulation or not, spring reuse or not (my current springs were 3 months old and Alex discussed the pros and cons of reuse. I chose not to reuse the springs based on warranty reasons), door material types.

All three of the company personnel wore masks and on the install day the temperature was 90 degrees but they were very considerate of COVID-19 safety precautions.

I'm so tired of companies that don't deliver and I'm very happy to say that DND Garage Doors isn't one of those types.

I very highly recommend this excellent company and I expect you will receive great service too.

I found these folks on Yelp years ago when our first garage door opener bit the dust. They came out right away and replaced the unit. Our second door opener died yesterday (it was 27 years old, so it didn't owe us anything). Scheduled an appointment for today with Alex, he arrived on time, and they finished within an hour and a half - new opener, checked out the other unit, installed new rollers on both doors, and lubricated everything. And installed a new battery in the remote for good measure. Would give them more stars if the system allowed.

Can a garage door opener be luxurious? If so, these belt-driven openers are quiet LUXURY. My whole house no longer rattles while my garage doors are operating. And the service was outstanding. The foreman even programmed my car for me. I could have had the one broken opener fixed, but they were 18-years-old and due for replacement. They were so appreciative of the fact that I thought to clear the garage out, so they could have clear access to the openers.
